It’s been 11 days since Malaa teased his “Oh Me Oh My” remix on Twitter, and without much further warning, that day has finally arrived. “Oh Me Oh My” by DJ Snake features verses from Migos, G4shi, and Travis Scott, and they remain mostly intact in Malaa’s remix, adding an interesting hip hop element to the mostly basic house remix.
Melding house and hip hop isn’t something new, but it works insanely well for DJ Snake and Malaa. As two producers who are very closely related (and maybe even the same person… sometimes), it’s not surprising that it would come out so well. However, there are elements of the track that keep us from completely immersing ourselves in the music. That being said, it will definitely grow on you after a few listens.
