A Guide to Miami Music Week 2017

March in Miami is not just for Ultra Music Festival. Miami Music Week has been known to draw nearly comparable crowds from all over world, giving people from all different cultures the chance to leave their troubles at the door and just dance.

Year after year it has grown exponentially, packing out clubs and venues all over the city. This year the list of shows is so good that it would be pretty easy to get overwhelmed. We’ve gone through the shows on MMW’s calendar and compiled a list of what we think might be the best to check out.

Note: in no way is this an exhaustive list of all parties going on in Miami this week, but a brief snapshot of the ones we love and will probably be at.

Tuesday: Firebeatz & Friends + Special Guests

Kicking off Miami Music Week with full force is Firebeatz & Friends at Hotel Delano. Judging by this lineup, this show will definitely be packed with electronic anthems that will totally set the tone of your wild week. Grab your tickets here!

Wednesday: Axtone Miami Pool Party

If you decide to head to the Axtone Miami Pool Party for day two of Miami Music week, we highly suggest you wear something easy to dance in. When a lineup is stacked with artists like Benny Benassi and Chocolate Puma, there is no way you won’t be breaking a sweat. The major headliner has yet to be announced, but we highly doubt the reveal will be anything less than amazing – and you can probably guess who it is, anyhow. Tickets can be purchased here!

Thursday: DEADBEATZ Goes Off the Deep End

As possibly one of the stacked MMW shows on the entire calendar, Thursday’s DEADBEATZ Goes off the Deep End show is one you definitely want to be at. After Zeds Dead was mysteriously taken off the Ultra lineup, a lot of fans were understandably sad. This show, however, more than makes up for that with the craziest lineup of artists you can pack into one night. Secure your spot here.

Thursday: Above & Beyond w/ Special Guest Eric Prydz

As if you weren’t excited enough for the parties to come, two mega-stars are joining forces for a night that is sure to be remembered. The legendary trance trio that is Above & Beyond will be joined by master of sounds Eric Prydz on Thursday the 23rd for what is sure to be an EPIC performance. These superstars are set to hit the stage at Miami’s own RC Cola plant, and we can guarantee a night full of ridiculous music, dance, and feels! Make sure to snag your tickets here before they run out!

Friday: Dim Mak Miami w/ Steve Aoki

Dim Mak has had a hand in Miami Music Week since the beginning, but this year’s show is set to out-do anything they’ve done in years past. If there is one thing Steve Aoki does best, it’s throw a party, and with the company of Borgore, MAKJ, and more, there certainly won’t be any FOMO for other events. Get ready for some booty-shakin’ beats and grab your tickets here!

OWSLA Miami: Pop Up Shop + Live Music

If you were lucky enough to catch any of the OWSLA Pop Ups around the country recently, you already know that it’s a party you won’t soon forget. Stock up on the latest exclusive OWSLA gear, grab a bite to eat, and listen to the hottest sets from your favorite artists in the OWSLA family. Access to the pop up is free in the early part of the day, but you’ll have to buy a ticket for the live sets later on in the evening. BONUS: If and when you purchase a ticket, you are also entered for a chance to win a special dinner with none other than JOYRYDE as well as a merch pack!

Saturday: Claude Vonstroke presents: The Birdhouse

Although it isn’t a Dirtybird BBQ, The Birdhouse day party on Saturday is not one to miss. Claude Vonstroke and friends always bring the house down with their funky bass, but doing so on a sunny day at the beach is a recipe for perfection. Shuffle over to your tickets here.

Sunday: Anjunabeats Miami

As your week comes to a close and you need one last event to dance the night away, Anjunabeats Miami is the perfect solution. Not only do you get to wind down with some of trance’s icons, but $2 from every ticket sold will be donated to non-profit “Fuck Cancer”. Grab a ticket here and do some good at the same time!

Need more options? Check out the rest of the 2107 Miami Music Week shows here. Stay hydrated and have a wild week!
