When Wiz Khalifa rapped over “Closer” by The Chainsmokers at Okeechobee, we thought it was a pretty dope moment, one that would be unique to those festival goers and it wouldn’t go farther than that. We were wrong.
Today, Wiz Khalifa uploaded a full vocal remix of “Closer” on his Soundcloud and we’re definitely digging it. It’s not so much that it’s revolutionary in its own right, but we’ve just heard “Closer” so many times by now that when we hear something new on top of it, our ears perk up.
Wiz’s verses are also pretty on point, so it’s not like he just slapped his name on it and was done. Check out the remix below!
