Deadmau5 has a penchant for being a jackass on Twitter, but more than anything he’s always just simply speaking his mind. Yesterday, he related to his fanbase that he didn’t really get the point of competitive voguing.

The innocuous enough tweet was met with intense ire from many members of the gay community, who felt that deadmau5 was somehow disrespecting them by saying he literally just doesn’t understand something.
As opposed to some of his other seemingly insensitive tweets, this one seems to have struck a major chord with the LGBT community, and he spent a great deal of yesterday responding to tweets about it.
