As we are well aware, SCRVP and Holly have an affinity for all things bass. That is very evident in their newest collaborative track “2nd Day“. Holly has a more experimental catalog while SCRVP has a heavy trap styled catalog. Put those together and you have an experimental trap banger “2nd Day”!
The track begins with some chilled out, muffled synths and a reversed vocal chop. Percussive hits are added to give the track a groove. Things pick up as the muffled synths abruptly cut out to reveal a more sinister sound. Massive sub hits, wubs, and what sounds like a sampled pan flute bleed through between a beautifully arranged drum sequence.
