The enigmatic Deadbeats label, founded by Zeds Dead, continues to push boundaries on just who it will sign and the music they make. This time, they’ve signed the new track from Pham and sober rob called “Alibi,” featuring Madi.
Featuring a much more downtempo vibe than anything the label has put out before, “Alibi” focuses heaviest on the melody and vocals, creating a flurry of sound and soft pounding on your eardrums. Madi’s performance in the track is commendable by any standards, carrying the track from beginning to end with her hypnotic voice. Credit is due to Pham and sober rob, as well, of course, for giving her the medium in which to flex her skills.
