Raumakustik is on fire. Their music has been all over podcasts, radio stations, and festivals, these past two years, and rightfully so, as the German duo are responsible for some of the fattest tunes house music has ever seen. 2016 was a big year for them, with massive releases on Hot Creations, Spinnin’ Deep, and of course, Toolroom Records. Tracks like “Logic” displayed in perfect fashion their talent in creating a infectious groove, while also warping the hell out of a sample that just makes you go bonkers.
They’ve come into 2017 with a bang, already rocking the decks for Toolroom’s very own guest mix on Toolroom Radio. Their latest release, which is now out on Toolroom’s Miami compilation album, is a remix to Nolan & Forrest’s classic, “C’est La Vie” and it is a banger.
Yet again warping the vocals in perfect fashion, they work a low-fi beat that builds into a electrifying collage of drums and synths bleeps.
