Bass music mainstay NGHTMRE has just released his latest remix, this time in the form of a wall-shaking trap flip of Travis Scott and Kendrick Lamar‘s 2016 track “Goosebumps.” Featuring iconic sound design and bold exploration of empty space between beats, the song is likely to explode in the festival circuit as one of the main stage’s most celebrated heaters.
The remix begins with Travis Scott’s vocals above a relatively standard, laid back trap rhythm before a fiery swell of snares and white noise picks up. Suddenly, the track breaks into an ungodly arrangement of sky-high, squealing synths and teeth-rattling sub bass. Combined with the twanging, metallic atmospheric elements and tight percussion section, the song makes for an instantaneous addition to any party playlist.
