Here’s something a little different from some of my favorite curators in the SoundCloud ecosphere. From Tipsy Records comes not a deep house or tropical house tune, but instead a lovely ‘future’ pop tune with gorgeous production and vocals to match.
Canadian producer Lonely Kid shows off a sophisticated ear for pop by crafting a wonderfully infectious lead melody augmented with some retro ’80s inspired synths. The star of the show though is vocalist Josh Carter. His bright voice really polishes off the record, serving as a great introduction to the SoundCloud dance space with his unique approach to vocal harmonies and melodies.
