I’m really happy today to bring Daijo to Your EDM for the first time, and to write about my good friend Aloma Steele. The two have collaborated on a new track entitled “Red Dress” which is out today.
Featuring Aloma’s always effortless vocals, Daijo crafts a brilliant story around the concept of a woman in a red dress, something of a trope that you can find in literature and cinema, such as The Matrix. While at first glance the track may seem simplistic, its intricacies come out with each new listen, opening up a much grander vision for the song.
