This week The Chainsmokers dropped a huge collab with Chris Martin of Coldplay. The song “Something Just Like This” was debuted at the BRIT awards just a few days ago, featuring live vocals from Martin and some live guitar licks from Andrew Taggart.
The song is introduced by Taggart on guitar, Martin singing behind a large silk screen, and Alex Pall rockin’ the keys. The stage lights up and the silk curtain is yanked to reveal a flurry of LED colors as the drop hits. This was a spectacular way to debut the track, a track that is sure to rise quickly through the charts. This track will be a part of their upcoming album Memories…Do Not Open, available on April 7th worldwide.
