Funk-master Manic Focus took to his Soundcloud page today to unveil the very first single off of his upcoming debut album, Mind Rising, set to drop in full on April 21. The track, “Stronger,” features guest contributions from Late Night Radio, Jennifer Hartswick and Adam Deitch, all combining to form a truly memorable and innovative arrangement.
It begins with warbling church organs and slowly approaching vocals before gentle percussion enters the space. A quick rise leads to a groovy, horn-filled drop complete with funky baselines and soaring vocal chops. The natural instruments are soon infused with deep, growling synths and other electro elements, finishing off the tune in style.
