Major Lazer Drop New Remix Of Ed Sheeran’s #1 Hit, “Shape Of You”

Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” rocketed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 after its release, and it looks poised to stay there for at least another week after a stunning performance at the GRAMMYs. Another group that’s used to the limelight has just put out a new remix of the track.

Major Lazer teams up with Kranium and N’yla for some original vocals over the original track, putting a very characteristic dancehall spin on Ed Sheeran, something that should work, but falls just a little short in Major Lazer’s attempt.

We’re no strangers to the dancehall style from the trio, but the synth choice on this one is just a little more annoying than anything else. Check it out for yourself below:
