Bassnectar Just Announced Loads Of New Music Coming In 2017

Bassnectar just posted a sort of State Of The Union to his personal website this morning, detailing all that he has to offer fans in 2017 – and there’s a lot. Beyond the normal shows and events, he has loads of new music coming from various angles throughout the year.

To start, Bassnectar will be releasing a drum & bass collaboration with Dirtyphonics and Ragga Twins on Monstercat at some point this year. That’s already pretty amazing. He’ll also be releasing a track called “Interlock” with ATLiens on OWLSA, and a remix of Buku’s “Front To Back” on Spinnin. Still to come are “some other TBA shenanigans involving Noisia, Dorfex Bos, and others…”

He’s also going to be releasing another collaboration with one of his favorites, G Jones. In addition, he’ll be debuting a new side-project called NAUX FAUX, which he says is “an old-school psychedelic downtempo project I created with my longtime buddy Sayr (from “Enter The Chamber” and “Grampa Slams” back in the dayyyyy).”

No word on another album in 2017. He’s released three albums in the past three years, and six since 2009, so we can’t blame him if he takes a break this year. That being said, who knows what he’s got cooking…

Check out his full address to fans here.
