Michael Brun has been a great musical ambassador for Haiti for about as long as I can remember. Previous charitable efforts include working with members of local art school The Audio Institute on “Where I Go.” Now, education is once again the beneficiary of a generous Michael Brun gesture with his latest single “GAYA” – a banging dance-hall, reggaeton inspired track.
“GAYA” means ‘healing’ in the local dialect. According to the creators Michael Brun, Lakou Mizki, and J. Perry, the song is a message preaching the power of the unity that calls on Haitians from every corner of the world to “come together in a unified chorus of pride and positivity to heal and stay strong in the face of all the difficulties the country endures.”
Stream the official music video below. Proceeds from streams and sales of the single will go directly to supporting the programs of The Artists Institute.
