Opvs, an up and coming New York based duo, have been releasing stellar tracks for a few months now. They definitely have solidified their experimental, future bass style across the catalog of songs they’ve released. They continue their trend of releasing “stuff your girl listens to” with their newest release “Run.”
Rolling pianos and a droning background synth create a spacious place for the listener to begin exploring this track. Vocal chops come in to give the song some melody, as well as some live sounding drums. The vocal chops morph into something completely new in the drop, placed over snappy drums and a stuttering chord progression. This track will undoubtedly make you bob your head.
