As The Chainsmokers prepare to embark on their massive arena tour a little later this year, they’re still pumping out lots of music in the studio. Between writing sessions, they often have time to hop on Snapchat and share with fans what they’ve been working on, as is the case today.
The beginning of the clip sounds just as you might expect any other recent Chainsmokers song to start – soft synths and a sort of whimsical melody, but it soon gets a little rougher around the edges with a grittier sound to it and some vocal chops to round out the silence.
Fans who see The Chainsmokers on the “Memories Do Not Open” tour will be sure to hear this played out.
