Lost Kings have been rocketing in popularity over the past year; and after signing to Disruptor Records, the home of The Chainsmokers and Vanic, you can expect their rise to hit an absolute fever pitch in 2017.
Their first single of the new year is a radio-ready single titled “Quit You,” with featured vocals from none other than Tinashe. The new single doesn’t have a typical drop, instead opting to really follow the verse-chorus-verse structure of a typical pop song.
Lost Kings’ foray into pop music aligns well with many other producers this year, and it brings up wider questions of crossover appeal in EDM and mainstream radio music. But that’s a discussion for another time.
This isn’t the first time Tinashe has worked in the EDM sphere, having previously released a collab with Marshmello and Far East Movement, and it won’t be the last (Jauz x Diplo x Tinashe on deck).
