This was always going to be an eventuality but once again, The Chainsmokers are well on their way to taking over the radio with another pop hit “Paris.”
According to data provided by Mediabase which tracks 180 US and Canadian radio stations for airplay, “Paris” leads all songs in adds having been picked up by for airplay on over 150 tracked stations – 156 to be precise. That might not sound like too much, but when you compare it with “Rockabye” by Clean Bandit in second place with 26 adds, you can see just how comfortably The Chainsmokers eclipsed that mark.
Since its release on Friday, “Paris” has already amassed over 14 million plays on Spotify and should be conquering the top spots in all of top 40 radio and the Billboard Hot 100 soon enough.
