Being reported now by the Turkish media, the man responsible for killing 39 people on New Year’s Eve at a Turkey nightclub, Abdulgadir Masharipov, has been apprehended alive by police.
Photos allegedly showing him after the arrest have him looking bloodied up. He is said to have been caught in the Istanbul district of Esenyurt by a “police operation.” He was found with his 4-year-old son, whom he’d taken with him after going on the run.
