It’s finally here! The Chainsmokers’ brand new single “Paris” is finally out and with the official lyric video out too we can finally stop mumbling and see what they’re actually saying. The video is directed by The Chainsmokers’ videographer Rory Kramer, who also did the video for “Closer” which just surpassed 1 billion views, so it’s safe to say he’s had a pretty good week all round.
The video kicks off with a dictionary definition of ‘Paris’ which right away sums up the entire attitude and story of the song. From there, we’re taken along a frolicking adventure with Instagram model Alexis Ren across a tropical location as the lyrics flash across the screen.
