Dirty Audio & Max Styler – Roller Coaster [Monstercat]

2016 was a great year for Monstercat in terms of picking up fresh talent, and there seems to be no signs of the label slowing down. One of the Monstercat’s arguable biggest recruits of the year was the L.A. producer Dirty Audio, who made his debut with the label in late September with the iconic “Gorilla Glue.” Following a successful self-release and an official remix for DJ Snake and Yellow Claw, Dirty Audio announced his second round with the label, and I couldn’t have been more stoked.

Living up to its name, “Roller Coaster” is an absolute ride. While “Gorilla Glue” was generally written in a single style, “Roller Coaster” is much more wild, with Dirty Audio using a blend of different genres, from trap to dubstep to future bass. Though these styles can be vastly different, “Roller Coaster” smoothly combines all of them into one fantastic, energy-filled track.

The track’s future bass influence seems to come primarily from co-producer Max Styler, a Dim Mak regular who is making his Monstercat debut with “Roller Coaster.” We recently featured Styler in our Aspire to Inspire series, so make sure to check out the interview if you get the chance!
