If you thought future house was dead, Culture Code will have you thinking otherwise. Though he initially received mainstream recognition for his contributions to the liquid dubstep scene, Culture Code has found immense success recently making future bass and big room house. His last premiere with us – the melodic smasher “Electricity” – has amassed over 4 million views on YouTube, while his newest original – “Make Me Move” – earned 1 million in just two weeks.
Culture Code’s newest endeavor, however, is very much so out of his typical vein. Future house in general is a risky genre simply because so many of its popular producers have left to pursue other sounds (like Oliver Heldens with HI-LO and Tchami with bass house). However, this style seems to have paid off well for Culture Code. His remix of Zara Larsson‘s hit “I Would Like” is sweet, sexy and to the point, suitable for the club, at-home listening, and even the main stage.
