On Christmas morning, Bono and the U2 band members took to Facebook to offer well wishes to their base of listeners. With the 30th anniversary of the group’s iconic The Joshua Tree LP approaching quickly, it was the perfect time for them to reveal a year’s worth of plans for 2017.

In the video, Bono describes a string of “very special shows” to be performed next yea before confirming that their long awaited Songs of Experience album would be released in 2017 as well.

With a new album in tow, it appears possible that the band’s collaboration with Kygo, “The Best Thing,” will be included on the tracklist. First debuted at Norway;s Cloud 9 festival in August, the song has not yet received an official release.

While U2’s specific tour dates have yet to be announced, sources have told Billboard that they’ll be stopping by several US stadiums before the European leg. Billboard reported that they will also be headlining Bonnaroo in June, as well as a pair of dates at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey.
