Undoubtedly, one of the biggest pseudo-feuds in EDM of 2016 has been between deadmau5 and marshmello. As far as masked musicians go, these two are a couple of the most popular and see to be like oil and water. Most of the badgering has just been on Twitter or Instagram, thank god, but some of it has cut pretty deep nonetheless.
As 2016 winds to a close, someone in deadmau5′ circle couldn’t leave well enough alone and attempted one last jab at Marshmello before the end of the year. Deadmau5 received a shirt for Christmas of the Stay Puff guy from Ghostbusters, in between two graham crackers, with his head fallen off. Deadmau5′ caption “No comment” says enough by itself, anyhow.
