The Chainsmokers Release Remix Pack For “Setting Fires” ft. XYLØ

So it’s been about a week since Vanic’s stunning remix of “Setting Fires” by The Chainsmokers came out, and we’re still playing it at least once a day. Today, the full remix package for the single featuring XYLØ is out, with new interpretations from Blasterjaxx, Sigma, Qulinez, and Boxinbox & Lionsize.

First up is Blasterjaxx, who deliver a rather underwhelming big room remix of the tune. Well suited for stadium-size festivals, but not much else, the track blunders through the lyrics and large drums and synths. Next up is Sigma, the effervescently poppy DnB duo from the UK. Always trying new things, the remix skirts the borders of DnB, playing more to the poppy styles of Netsky or Sub Focus. The bouncy rhythm and warm synths are definitely infectious and catchy.

What more can be said about the Vanic remix than we already have… even with the others in the package, it’s still our favorite by far.

The final two remixes are courtesy of two lesser known groups: Qulinez, and Boxinbox & Lionsize. The first from Qulinez is a sweltering heaven trap remix, making more use of vocal chops and the swooning voice of XYLØ. Finally, we have Boxinbox & Lionsize who make great use of percussion and rhythm in their future bass to keep bodies moving and swaying.

Check out all the remixes below and follow the links to grab your own copy.
