Flume Was The World’s Most-Blogged-About Artist In 2016

Who better to reveal the year’s most blogged music than the original blog aggregator, Hype Machine. The service just revealed their Zeitgeist 2016 list, and of all the artists, Flume came out on top.

Maybe it was because of the tantalizing lead up to the Skin LP, or perhaps the continued excitement stemming from the Skin Companion EP. Regardless, the discussion around Flume stayed constant throughout the year, and the Australian has claimed the well-earned title as the internet’s No. 1.

Wild Nothing came in at No. 2, DJ Shadow was No. 3, Yumi Zouma No. 4, and Run The Jewels finished the year at No. 5. For Hype Machine’s full list of the year’s most-talked-about artists, click here.
