Originally released in February 2012, Hardwell’s “Spaceman” has gone on to become one of his biggest hits of all time (in no small part to the festival trap remix from Carnage).
Now, after more than four years, the single has finally been certified Gold in the US by the RIAA, after selling more than 500,000 copies. Ironically, the award was presented to Hardwell after his performance at the 538 Jingle Ball in Amsterdam.
Hardwell remarked in a press release, “This award is the greatest Christmas gift I could think of. I think it’s amazing that ‘Spaceman’ has so many downloads in America!”
