With the original released and given plenty of attention back in May, UZ‘s ‘Magellan’ is brought back into focus this week, thanks to an incredible stack of remixes that have been created around it. Dropped through UZ’s very own Quality Goods, this one isn’t to be missed if you dug the original.
The title track is reworked firstly here, with both TYNVN and Blvk Sheep putting their weighty stamps on it, before rising talent Tascione tackles ‘Ash It’, giving it bags of rhythmical focus. ‘Yallah’ is revisited by HOUNDS, before ‘Cavern’ sees two fresh edits from UNKNWN and SAYMYNAME – with the former taking our pick. Lastly comes the Champagne Drip rework of ‘Spank,’ showing endless creativity and innate attention to detail.
