YouTube’s Biggest Star Just Trolled 50 Million People

PewDiePie, YouTube’s most-followed channel, vowed to delete his page once he hit 50 million subscribers in an effort to shine a light on the ways that YouTube management has been hurting its content creators.

He finally hit that magical 50 million mark and he did delete his channel… it just wasn’t PewDiePie. He created a second channel back in October, and he deleted that. That’s the joke.

At this point, claims about quitting, leaving, or deleting yourself from YouTube have become a parody of themselves. But wait! PewDiePie says he’ll delete his channel at 100 million subscribers! We won’t hold our breath.
