Pellican Child – Turn Me Down

A beautiful thing about dance producers is that there are no real boundaries in expanding their sonic capacities and blending genres to create new innovative sounds. Louis the Child have been future bass’ rising stars over the past couple of years, and while currently on a consistently sold-out across North America, they’ve decided to unveil a new side project they’ve been working on with New Orleans rapper, Pell.

Titled Pellican Child, the two projects have decided to dip their toes into the indie side of the hip-hop spectrum and come out of the gates with their debut offering, “Turn Me Down.” Mellow, smooth, and a little bit wonky on the production, Pellican Child shines in melding their styles into a left-of-center offering that will have fans wanting more. Check out “Turn Me Down” below.
