EDC Officially Announces Inaugural Tokyo Festival Next April

We all knew this day was coming. On the heels of the cancellation of EDC New York, a new festival is coming from Insomniac.

Insomniac Events has officially announced that their inaugural Japanese festival, EDC Tokyo, will be taking place in 2017 on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30, 2017. The festival will be taking place at the Zozo Marine Stadium and Makuhari Beach.

EDC Japan marks the festival’s 5th international destination, next taking place on Tokyo Bay. Festivalgoers from across Asia will be able to witness firsthand the awe-inspiring production and creativity that has made EDC a global phenomenon. Early bird tickets for the highly anticipated event will be available while supplies last, from Thursday, December 8 at 7 PM PT to Friday, December 9 at 11 PM PT here. Information on the general pre-sale will be announced soon. Two-day passes start at ¥20,000, or around $175 USD.
