Drake Has Officially Dominated 2016 With Quadruple Platinum Status & More

Without question, 2016 is the year of Drake. His fourth studio album, Views, has officially gone quadruple platinum, selling over four million units under RIAA’s new policy which includes streamed plays. Let’s hope they spelled everything right on the plaque…

But that’s far from all the honors flooding the Canadian artist; Drake received a record 13 nominations at the American Music Awards, winning four of those categories, and he’s also received eight Grammy nominations, not to mention his opening spot at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Oh, and as if that wasn’t enough, Drake has now topped all three of Apple’s year-end charts for Top Album, Top Song, and Best Of Beats 1 Playlist. Seriously, I’ll have what he’s having.
