Ever Wondered What A Drop Looks Like In Zero G? Watch This

As we push the limits on stage production at festivals worldwide, we’ll always be hampered by one thing: gravity. There’s no festival currently capable of floating in the sky or completely detaching itself from the laws of physics, but perhaps Desperados and Mike Cervello found the next best thing.

As part of a brand activation, Desperados challenged Mike to create a drop in a zero g atmosphere – this was done by ascending up to 30,000 ft in a large plane and quickly descending. The result is a brief zero gravity environment, and the combination of feeling weightless with a heavy drop is enough to even give me chills, here on the ground.
