Directed by DROELOE, the official music video for “Wake The Warrior” is a captivating journey of spoiled innocence.
High-concept is an understatement, but the story is utterly thought-provoking if not just a tad unsettling. We see a young girl carve a bird into a tree, which is then turned into a rifle by her father for her birthday party. Shortly after receiving the gift, she turns violent, starkly contrasting her behavior at the video’s onset, which leads to some startling wall ornaments at the end.
There are some interesting theories floating about, but I won’t sour your imagination with my own thoughts. Check it out below and come up with your own idea of what it all means. Oh, and the track itself is awesome, but you already knew that…
