It’s not often that a brand new label’s debut release is a remix, but that appears to be the case with YouTube powerhouse CloudKid’s foray into the official label space. Emerging producer Pluto has the honor of being CloudKid Records’ first ever release with a sparkling remix of Molly Moore.
As always, Pluto’s sound design shines through as the most ear-catching element of the song, more so than Molly Moore’s vocals even. There’s something pristine about the way that the xylophone, guitar, and even trumpet work together to elevate Molly Moore’s vocals all the way up into the clouds.
