Your EDM Month In Music – October 2016

With the beginning of a new month, that can mean only one thing: A brand spankin’ new Month in Music playlist for October. Last month was relatively slow regarding album releases, although we did see amazing feats of work from the likes of Zeds Dead with their debut album Northern LightsLido’s Everything and Excision’s Virus, just to name a few.

We also saw amazing releases from artists all across the genre spectrum. Kaskade & deadmau5a officially released their follow up collaboration from the monumental 2008 track “I remember,” this time around with vocals by Skylar Grey in “Beneath With Me.”

Jauz & San Holo dropped a monster of a collaboration that fans have been waiting a long time for on the Monstercat label titled, “OK!”

Marshmello released his favorite song he’s ever made titled, “Ritual,” with vocals by Wrabel. Wrabel worked with Afrojack for one of his biggest tracks “Ten Feet Tall,” and I think it’s safe to say “Ritual” is bound to assert itself as one of Marshmello’s best tracks to date.

Dutch wunderkind Martin Garrix released seven tracks across the month of October. One of our favorites is definitely the rumored Avicii collaboration, which actually turned out to be “Hold On & Believe,” with none of than The Federal Empire.

And in honor of the eclectic electronic duo Empire Of The Sun dropping their latest album Two Vines, we thought it would be a joy to include their famous “Walking On A Dream.”

Check out all these and more in Your EDM’s Month in Music playlist for October below!
