It’s been awhile since indie-dance gangster Jerry Folk hit the remix trail, over a year to be precise, since then he’s been on an absolute tear putting out single after single. That said, his latest is a wispy, smoky take on one of my favorite singles of the year “Six Feed Under” by Billie Eilish.
With soft piano keys moving slowly between slow-moving synths and jersey-styled samples in the cut as well, Jerry Folk’s remix truly takes the attention off of production and thrusts Billie Eilish’s sparkling vocals firmly in the spotlight.
