It takes a lot to make an EDM music video pop these days – with incredible budgets and an ever expanding cadre of innovative and daring creative directors, videos are getting more wild by the day. This new one from Henry Pope is exceptionally trippy – the entire video is filtered to resemble a psychedelic trip, and it does so with scary accuracy (we’re sure it’s from experience).
The actual storyline within, if it could be considered such a thing, is equally as crazy as the visual representation behind it. Dancing in straight jackets and pitch black ink portray a scene of insanity more acutely than a lot of other attempts. Ultimately, the video ends and we’re left wondering what exactly went on in Pope’s head.
