Parisian producer Kultur is about to drop his new EP Midnight Whispers via Nowaday Records and he’s blessing us all with this EP’s debut single “Unravel” with vocalist Jessel Alejo.
Dark and mysterious, Kultur does a great job from start to finish by clouding Jessel’s vocals with wispy and smoky production to conjure mental images of Jessel’s voice as the proverbial light in the darkness. As the song progresses Kultur’s production ramps up more and more from a slow-moving downtempo release to a well executed musical journey in sound design culminating in a frenzy of sharp synths and soulful R&B-esque drum kicks.
