This duo from Texas keeps delivering straight fuego. Their catalogue is now stacked with a diverse list of tracks ranging from future bass to certified hood classics. Far & Few are definitely far and few between many other producers, really honing in on their craft and developing their own sound. For their newest release, “Yerba,” they teamed up with LOA, an 18-year-old Polish producer who produces some of the grimiest trap I’ve heard in awhile. This collab was destined for greatness.
The track is introduced by a hallowed synth, creating a menacing threat of the imminent drop. The track’s suspense is built with a pitched vocal sample, further contributing to the sinister feeling of the song. The drop comes in with a synth that bends and twists with fervor. I can’t think of any other way to describe the synth as a monster robot breaking free from its trap. The second drop almost half-times, slowing down the vibe of the track while maintaining the high energy present throughout.
