When the joint Diplo and Skrillex musical project Jack Ü first broke ground two years ago they quickly propelled themselves to not only the forefront of the EDM world but the world of pop music as well. While they’ve stopped actively touring they did promise to continue putting out music.
Last night while he was playing in front of a sold-out crowd in Minneapolis, Diplo addressed the crowd thanking them for the love before playing out a brand new Jack Ü song that had “never been heard before in America”. The audio isn’t great, but from what I hear the song follows the same pop-bass elements in the Jack Ü mold highlighted by a strong female vocal belonging to the one-and-only Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine.
