We’ve been waiting for this moment for almost a year, but the Dillon Francis and Alesso collaboration “Take My Breath Away” is finally out! Though it’s undergone a massive change since Dillon first teased it at IDGAFOS last December, the track is still one of the best releases of the year in our eyes.
With vocals from Atlas, “Take My Breath Away” is a progressive house masterpiece in every sense of the word. Not only is it incredibly catchy, it’s also impressive on a technical level, blending the current trend of modulated vocal chops with some striking percussion. This is a song that can be replayed dozens of times without any decrease in enjoyment – you can take my word for that, I’ve had it on repeat this whole morning.
To address the elephant in the room, yes, Dillon Francis is on this track, despite his name being absent from Spotify. Remember what happened with his GTA collab? Same deal. Dillon Francis is still credited in the production credits as a co-producer.
