The Chainsmokers were set to make an announcement today as revealed by a countdown timer on their website revealed a week ago. Lots of speculation went into what the announcement would, but as it turns out…
It’s a new EP!
It’s been nearly a year to the day since their last EP Bouquet came out, but a lot has changed since then. For one thing, they’ve released the three biggest songs of their career: Don’t Let Me Down, Closer, and All We Know. So if nothing else, more eyes than ever will be on them for this release, so they can’t mess it up. 
In conjunction with announcing the release of the EP, they’ve also given fans a chance to participate in the reveal of the EP cover art.

As of time of publication, there has been 6% progress in this endeavor, but we don’t expect it to take too long before fans find out about this and go into a frenzy.
As of this time, a release date has not been announced, but we expect it before the end of the year.
