The official DJ Mag Top 100 rankings are going to be revealed tomorrow, but we got really impatient. Yesterday, we asked our readers to rank their favorite DJs and the results look a lot different than what tomorrow’s rankings will look like.
We began this list with 30 names taken from last year’s Top 100 – users were able to add names to the list as they wished, and could upvote or downvote any DJ once. You can see how many votes each DJ received here.
Martin Garrix received the most upvotes, with The Chainsmokers close behind. New additions to our Top 10, as compared to DJ Mag’s last year, are Marshmello, Kygo, DJ Snake, KSHMR, and Axwell ^ Ingrosso.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, last year’s DJ Mag Top 100 #1 DJs, received the most downvotes in our poll, with 210 – versus 139 upvotes – and ended in the #58 position on the list.
After approximately 11,000 votes these are our unofficial top 63 DJs of 2016. (Note: Paul Oakenfold, Astrix, Au5, Seven Lions, Savant were all added immediately before voting was closed. Because of this, they each have only 1 upvote with no downvotes, and skew the list – thus they were removed from our official ranking list.)
