About a month ago, a dream collaboration occurred when Tom Morello shredded over a Knife Party track, “Battle Sirens.” There would be a lot of pressure associated with remixing such icons as Knife Party and Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello. That didn’t stop Brillz though. After listening to the remix several times, all I can say is wow. The already banger of a track was transformed into a higher energy, head-banging worthy, all out sprint of hybrid trap madness. Knife Party posted the remix to their page a couple of days ago, showing their support for this incredible remix.
Keeping Morello’s hyped up riff from the original as the center piece to the song, Brillz adds his own heavy spin to the signature Morello x Knife Party sound. However, nothing will adequately prepare you for the warping wubs that Brillz brings to the drops. Mix that with the punchiest kicks and snares, and Morello’s masterpiece guitar riffs, and you get the beast that is this remix. The second drop brings in more energy when Brillz takes the track double time, making that half time feel even filthier. You might need to get the shower warm before listening to this track:
