Hardwell has just released a collaboration with Jay Sean, and the track is a massive departure from what we expected of the Dutch producer.
“Thinking About You” boasts a driving house beat that pulls from the garage basslines of Calvin Harris’ work on “How Deep Is Your Love” and “This Is What You Came For.” And, it’s not lost on us that the track shares the same title as another of Harris’ beloved classics, but that doesn’t distract us from wanting to get up and dance.
The collaboration is a solid production for Hardwell, and it’s sure to see some serious club play in the coming months. Overall, “Thinking About You” is a quality pop anthem veiled in the styling of UK house, and we won’t be surprised to see this track making the rounds throughout the season.
