Vassy recently appeared in a video with 93.3 FLZ’s Brian Fink, performing a version of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, singing hits like her smash “Secrets” with Tiësto and KSHMR and some Adele.
They also put on “Closer” by The Chainsmokers, because who doesn’t love singing along with that? Before they get started, though, Vassy reveals that she’s been talking with The Chainsmokers recently about collaborating, “going back and forth,” but they haven’t been digging any of her ideas so far!
The Chainsmokers revealed in their interview with Rolling Stone, in which they also ripped into Lady Gaga and Rihanna, that they favor working with unknown vocalists because they’re willing to work harder because of their “hunger” to make it. Vassy is anything but unknown, but a collaboration with her and The Chainsmokers would still almost inevitably be a smash hit.
