Along with iOS 10, Apple has launched an entirely new App Store for iMessage, and one application in particular has caught our attention. Shazam can now be integrated directly into your iMessage conversations to share songs like never before.
Once downloaded, it works with a simple “Touch To Shazam” function in the iMessage app, which also shares data with your full Shazam profile, allowing you to see search history and peruse your discoveries. Here’s a statement on the new product from Shazam’s Chief Product Officer, Fabio Santini.

We are always working to improve our user experience with new technology, and we are excited to launch this feature with iOS 10. We think music fans will love how easy it is to share Shazams within a great conversation.”
