I really shouldn’t have to go into detail about my ongoing love affair with Carlyle, but if you’re really that interested, you can read up on his previous tracks here. That being said, he’s sent me another fire track by the name of “R U READY !” and I certainly was not ready for this.
With each release, I maintain that Carlyle is one of the most creative producers of bass house in the game today, and still have not been proven wrong. With an anthemic melody against the usual bass house rhythm, this track has something special. Because if the first drop, for whatever reason, just didn’t do it for you… the second drop is extra tasty. Instead of rising notes, they’re descending – yeah, it seems simple af, but it’s so damn effective.
